LABORATORY SPRAY DRYER
This instrument serves as a laboratory tool or a small production unit designed to produce atomized powder from slip (barbottina).
The slip is drawn by a pump and sent to a nozzle where it’s mixed with compressed air, creating a floating mist inside the chamber. Hot air, generated by a gas combustion unit, then dries this mist, producing a powder that settles in the conical lower part of the unit. Once the work cycle is complete, the product can be extracted using a fan.
