FCN MELTING FURNACES

Melting furnace of the movable hearth type, as by means of a suitable mechanism, the hearth of the furnace on which the crucible rests can rise and fall.

This allows the crucible to be easily removed, with suitable pliers, when it has been ascertained that the mixture under test is melted.
