The new Tortus 3 coefficient of friction meter is the latest version of the original BCRA instrument. Tortus 3 is a microprocessor-controlled, self-propelled precision instrument that directly measures the coefficient of dynamic friction, sliding on surfaces or floors used by pedestrians. Provides an instantaneous reading of the coefficient of friction on a digital display as you move across the surface and displays the mean μ value at the end of the test.
