APPARENT DENSITY DENSIMETER DDA3
Automatic instrument for determining the apparent density (porosity) of unfired ceramic tiles, model DDA/3 (mercury-free). The instrument determines the apparent density of the analyzed sample through a double weighing process: in air and hydrostatically. It uses a special slow-absorbing liquid, which allows the sample to be weighed before the measurement can be affected by the liquid’s absorption.
Technical Characteristics:
- Suspension weighing system via load cell
- Balance calibration using a 100g calibration weight (optional)
- Immersion weighing via automatic raising and lowering of the container holding the liquid.
- Automatic acquisition of values and calculation of apparent density
- Operator panel with touch screen display
- Sample support fork in stainless steel
- Liquid container in stainless steel
- Powder-coated steel structure
- 4 leveling feet and spherical bubble
- Safety door with microswitch
- Data output for connection to an external printer (optional)
- Power supply 230V 50 Hz
